Yoga Classes

Aqua Yoga

Yoga done in the shallow end of my in ground pool!  Practice different positions with the weightless feel of the water.  Similar practice as the Vinyasa flow.  Float around in the end for a floating savasana!

Blended Gentle/Chair

  This class joins the choice of chair and Gentle Yoga. Use the chair as needed or not at all! This class is great for all levels and for those that can't get on the ground.  For those of you needing the chair you can use it throughout the class, especially before and after our flows instead of getting down on the mat.  For those of you wanting a full Mat session, this class is for you too!  Enjoy the benefits of both.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is designed for those finding it difficult to get up and off the floor or for standing for long periods of time.  We start seated warming up and stretching and move into a couple sequences while sitting. We practice going from sitting to standing and standing to sitting.  We then move up to some standing sequences, where the chair is always there for support as needed.  We end this class with another seated sequence and then cool down with some stretching and end with a beautiful guided seated mediation.  This class is great for all levels, but especially for those with difficulty getting up and off the floor. 

Gentle Flow

Gentle Flow yoga is a Vinyasa style yoga, with less intense asana's.  Sequences are focused on movement and ability and strength. Geared toward the older adult population, this style of yoga will guide you through a series of Asana's, starting with a warm up and ending with a cool down and Savasana with mini meditation.  Using the breath and Asana together, I will guide you through each Asana, focusing on your body and making each class YOUR class!  Gentle Flow is modified throughout offering an inclusive class to everyone. 


Vinyasa

Vinyasa  Yoga brings the breath and asana together in a beautiful yogic flow.  In this 60 minute class I will guide you through a warm up, then through various sequences/asana's using your breath as a guide.  Each class will focus on a specific body area or Chakra.  Build strength, increase your range of motion and settle your mind during this class.  All classes are followed by a cool down and Savasana where I guide you into a mini meditation to allow the mind, body and spirit to fully connect.  Modifications are offered throughout this class to allow for all yogi's to participate. 

YIN 

 YIN Yoga is a style of yoga where the poses/asana's are held from 3-5 minutes.   During this 60 minute class we will explore 13 different asana's. I will guide you carefully through each asana, providing modifications throughout making this a personal yoga experience for everyone.  This class is great for all yogi's, from beginner's to experienced yogi's, everyone can practice YIN.  Holding the asana's for a longer period of time allows us to get into the ligaments, fascia and tendons, allowing an opportunity to help increase range of motion, improve circulation within the joints and various body parts.  YIN can provide a whole mind, body, and soul experience, let yourself go in this calm and quiet practice. 

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a still practice, with the goal of coming into a state between awake and dreaming.  Use this practice to unlock trauma, emotions, tensions, pain and anything that is not serving you whether you know it or not.  We will start with a small active practice to activate and release and then come into stillness for the remainder of the class. It is beneficial to bring polsters, pillows or blankets for comfort and support.
